Our historic 3 mile parade will stop traffic on Hwy 14A.

EXPECT DELAYS FROM APPROXIMATELY 1:00 - 3:00 pm FRI & 9:30 - 11:30 am SAT

Please plan travel accordingly.

For the safety of our spectators, participants, and animals, NO candy or other items are allowed to be thrown during the parade.

PARADE TIME

Friday, July 25, 2025 parade starts at 1:30 pm.

Saturday, July 26, 2025 parade starts at 10 am.

PARADE ROUTE
-
The parade starts at the Days of '76 Event Complex, travels up US Hwy 14A onto lower Deadwood Main St., up Main St., turns east on Pine St., then turns north on US Hwy 85 where the parade ends. Participants then get back onto Hwy 14A and follow it back to the Days of '76 Event Complex.

REQUIREMENTS​

All parade entries must contact Parade Chairman Travis Rogers by Friday, July 18, 2025 by phone or email, or by using the registration form below.

MANDATORY: All entries must check in at the Days of '76 Campground cabin on Wednesday, July 23 or Thursday, July 24 between 3pm & 5pm or Friday, July 25 between 9am & 11am. You will receive an official packet containing a parade entry/release form, a map of the Event Center explaining our NEW LINEUP FORMAT, and the entry number to be placed on your horse, wagon, float, etc.
COSTUMES

Costuming for parade participants at the Campground cabin:

Friday, July 18 from 4-6 pm​

Wednesday, July 23 from 2:30-4:30 pm

Thursday, July 24 from 2:30-4:30 pm

Friday, July 25 from 9-11 am

Please return costumes with name attached on Friday after the parade or Saturday after the parade. If your costume is not returned, you will be contacted.

PARADE DAY

All participants must arrive at the Days of '76 Arena one hour prior to parade start time, and at the line-up position 30 minutes prior to parade start.

NO candy or other items are allowed to be thrown in the parade - this will ensure spectator, participant, and animal safety.

Political advertising and/or campaigning is NOT allowed as we want to preserve the Western heritage of our parade. We welcome elected officials to ride in the parade but you must provide your own source of transportation. We will announce your name and seat throughout the parade.
